  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining until just mixed. Fold in the cranberries and white chocolate chips, if using.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The center may look slightly underbaked, but they will firm up as they cool.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
