Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Chives, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well combined and slightly frothy.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it sit undisturbed for about 30 seconds until it starts to set around the edges.
- Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs from the edges towards the center, cooking and folding until they are softly set but still slightly runny in places.
- Remove the skillet from heat when the eggs are just about cooked to your liking; they will continue to cook in the residual heat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped chives if desired, and enjoy your easy scrambled eggs!
