Prep: Cook: 2 servingsAmerican
Ingredients
2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup asparagus, trimmed
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the steaks with olive oil, and season generously with salt and pepper.
Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce into the garlic butter mixture and stir to combine.
While the steaks are resting, toss the asparagus and cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, honey, and a pinch of salt. Sauté in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes until tender.
Slice the steak against the grain and plate alongside the sautéed vegetables. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the steak and garnish with fresh parsley.
