Ingredients
1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, julienned
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the stir fry over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with chopped green onions.
