  3. Stir in the penne pasta, vegetable broth, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the liquid is mostly absorbed.
  5. Add chopped spinach and shredded chicken to the skillet, stirring until the spinach wilts and everything is heated through.
